Great macaroni but why do many people hate

I tried the bunny pasta yesterday for dinner and it was pretty good.I picked up a box at Corner Market so I could try it and I will definitely buy this again!I don't get why so many people hate this?Shut up haters, you probably liked it but you had to make stupid, negative reviews about the food so you could let people lose their appetite!!!Other than that, this was the best macaroni I've tried so far.

New label. Diet pasta. I bet that you can stop with just one piece.

I typically love Annie's macaroni and cheese, but the yummier than ever Bunny Pasta is terrible. My husband kept telling me that it was gross. He's right! I bought a case of this stuff! It is so bitter. I hate throwing away food, but I can't imagine eating anymore of this stuff.

    Terrible change

They changed this — it’s terrible now! This bunny Mac used to be my kids’ favorite, but now I’m stuck with 11 boxes of a 12-pack because they refuse to eat it. The boxes say “yummier than ever” but there was no hint before we bought it that it had changed. Stay away! I don’t know what they did but it’s horrible.

    Salty and Bitter

Wow... the comments didn’t lie. I thought I added too much salt to the water to boil (I def didn’t add too much) the taste is awful. It’s bitter and so salty and soapy. It did not blend together at all. I wouldn’t recommend this. The cheddar shells are still super amazing... why change something that shouldn’t be fixed. Awful.

This is the best thing to ever exist. If anyone thinks otherwise, they are doing it wrong or they are lactose intolerant. And for those people, I am truly sorry that they don't get to understand the wonders this pasta has done. It is quick, it is good, it is a lifestyle. We buy four boxes a week. I have never been happier with this pasta in my life.

    VERY disappointed

I'm SO disappointed at the change. This used to be one of my favorite things to eat, but this reformulation tastes awful. I'm quite upset, and I really wish you would bring back the original formula.

    ZERO stars

The "yummier" version tastes bitter and awful. I will donate the rest of my boxes, but feel badly about doing so - who will want to eat them? UGH. Off to find another brand, until the old version comes back.

    Vile.

Really nasty. I ate this with my sisters, and here is a non-comprehensive list of things we said it tasted like: dust, dirt, poison, drain cleaner, soap, doorknob, metal, sulfur, a little tiny bit of cheese maybe, and chemicals. I've never had poison before, but this is probably what it tastes like. Honestly, we could not finish it. Unfortunately, the recipe will probably not be changing any time soon, so I guess we'll just have to find something else. I'd rather eat Kraft macaroni, which is really saying something.

    CHANGE WAS BAD

This tastes much worse than the earlier version of the product. The color is also much brighter. Please go back to the delicious bunnies flavor before you added whatever to the cheese mix.

Gross, gross sauce flavor- NOT cheese, just SOUR

This is disgusting!! This flavor is like....sour?? tangy, sour, bitter. Doesn't taste like cheese at all. I actually had to check the box because I thought it went bad (it didn't). Wow, it's absolutely disgusting!!!

    Change to the old recipe!

I'm with everyone else! Change back to the old recipe. My family can't stand the new one. I am pregnant and the smell is so overpowering. We loved the old recipe. My kids don't want me to make this kind anymore.

    Zero stars. I'm heartbroken

Incredibly sad you changed the recipe, i don't know why you would change the old recipe when it was honestly the best recipe ever. I only started liking mac and cheese because of the old recipe and now I only buy the parmesan cheese and white cheddar because the new recipe is absolutely terrible. Not everyone wants a million times more fake cheddar taste. Please please please go back. The website isn't letting me give one or zero stars. The average cannot possibly be almost 4 stars.

Ugh. Please, please, PLEASE I beg you, bring back the "old" recipe. My daughter - now 13 - has been eating your Bunny Mac & Cheese for ~10 years now. It WAS her favorite food (I am not joking), until this "improvement." She now can't stand it - something to do with this BRIGHT orange cheese sauce. It's way too tangy - even bitter (her dad & I agree it tastes awful, as well). I've scoured our local stores for every possible "old" box I could find. She had the last box this past week. I'm sad as well, as it was a go-to staple I always felt good feeding her.

    Change It Back!!!

My kids have been eating these for years, but now they hate them. The new "Yummier Than Ever" is not even close to better, they taste sour. I thought I made it wrong when I made it. It wasn't broken, so why did you fix it! Please change it back, it's making my kids sad. It's in your companies best interest and your customers best interest to change it back so why wouldn't you do it?

Terrible new Yummier than ever recipe

Terrible new recipe. My kids have been eating this for years, but now they hate it. I thought my milk had gone sour the first time I made it. Terrible tasting.

    Soapy Noodles are NOT Yummy!

They are not Yummier than ever - they taste like soap. The first time we made them we thought the pan hadn’t been rinsed enough, but on the second go round we knew it was the “new” flavor. We will not be buying these again, and the five boxes we have left will be trashed.
    Carrie Nov, 09, 2018
  • Jett Nov, 06, 2018

    The new flavor is awful

The new Yummier than ever flavor is awful! More like grosser than ever! The flavor is extremely bitter, the color is dark orange, and our daughter refuses to eat it.

    Worst change ever!

Worst change ever! My daughter only ate Bunny Mac N cheese for the past few years. The new Yummier version is terrible!!! She will not eat it! I don't like it much myself either. Please please please bring back the old version!!!! We beg you. We won't buy any of the new Yummier versions as they all taste terrible and are bright orange.

    New, but not improved

My kids have loved bunny pasta since they've been eating solid food, but this new recipe is not yummy! Nobody likes it at our house and we've had to stop buying it. It's been a staple dinner and lunch option, but no longer. Please, please bring the old recipe back!

    Changed for the worse

My 3 kids have been avid fans of "bunny noodles" for over a year now. Our last delivery was the new "Yummier than ever" formula, and I assure you, it WILL be our LAST delivery. The new recipe is just terrible. They wouldn't eat it, so I tasted it, and actually came online to see if their was a recall or something! I don't see how anyone thought this was an improvement. It is so bitter and rancid, I am throwing out the remaining 9 boxes. (Maybe donate it? But that seems cruel to some needy child that will end up with it!)

Let’s change what our customers love!

New 2018 Flavor... what in the world were they thinking??? My kids have stopped eating Mac and cheese over the last few months due to this change. We finally stopped buying it, but really miss it. Why not just change one to the new recipe and see if people complain? Why would you change ALL of them?

    Yummier? Or maybe not?

Out family has been very loyal with our macaroni choice. Our go-to has been the pink box. We tried the "yummier" version recently to discover that it isn't what it used to be. My son won't even eat the new version. Said it's just really bad. I tried to order the old variety on Amazon as it was showing the old versions picture. Imagine our shock as we received yet 10 more boxes of the new version. Stunned disbelief! Please bring back the old flavour that made your company popular and successful. It's appearing that the new version is not satisfying your customers based on reviews. Please make us happy again.

  • Heather Oct, 10, 2018

    Yummier or maybe not?

I'm afraid that I also have to give a less than favourable review for the new bunny macaroni. Kid won't eat the new recipe. Said it's not anything like the old recipe which was his favorite macaroni flavour (pink box). I tried to order 10 boxes on Amazon as they depicted the old box on their site. It would have been the holy grail. ...Imagine the reaction in the house when 10 more less-than-yummier boxes arrived. So disappointed. Please bring back the flavours that made your company so popular and successful. It's not looking like the public is embracing this.

    Terrible change

We have purchased Annie’s Mac & Cheese for years. I just recently bought the “yummier than ever” version. It was terrible. I actually thought something was wrong with it and made a new batch. I had my daughter try it and she wouldn’t even swallow the first bite. We will for sure be buying another version or looking for a new brand. It makes me sad as we love Annie’s brand things.
    Brooke W Oct, 05, 2018
  • J. Cohen Sep, 24, 2018

    Really disappointing

The new version has more salt and sugar (and less fiber and protein). So disappointing when the kids liked the older, actually yummier version better. Annie's- please reconsider.

'Yummier than ever' is a mistake

I used to love Annie's pasta, its an easy to make and good tasting lunch, but after this 'Yummier than ever' change I'm (and seemingly so is everyone else) thinking of finding a new brand. I understand people worry about salt, and what was in it before was a pretty high amount, but adding sugar is not even close to the answer. it tastes like rotting fruit. please change it back, it wasn't a good business decision, all its going to do is make you lose loyal customers.

Used to be a family favorite...

The Bunny Mac n Cheese was a staple in our household for years. However, since the change to the “Yummier than ever” version, my kids won’t touch the stuff. Please bring back your original version. I really want an alternative to Kraft. This used to be it, but not anymore. So disappointing...

    Yummier Than Ever?

We have bought hundreds(!!!) of boxes for our kids over the years and ended up feeding the neighborhood children because "we had the good mac and cheese!" This new formula was rated inferior by all. Companies mess with the formula do this because "A,' they consider a potential new sale more important than a valued customer and/or' B,' someone was promoted/hired and has to do something to make their mark. Hopefully all other varieties will not become "yummier" than ever, and we will not have to wait years for the re-launch of "classic flavor."

  • Alice Aug, 29, 2018

    don't like the new recipe

I am bummed that the recipe changed-- I feel like the sauce tastes sweeter and the new 10-12 minute cook makes the pasta too mushy. Have all of the classic Annie's changed their recipes?

    Yum!!

I bought this on a whim because of the cute bunny shapes (I'm a full grown adult mind you) and I'm in love! The best boxed mac and cheese I've ever had. I do find it a little on the salty side though - maybe I'll give the reduced sodium one a try next time!

    Bunnies will good!!!

This is the first time I go online to look for and review a food product. I just had to let everyone know how delicious it is and how it didn't leave us feeling overfull because it is made with such great ingredients! Amazing Mac n cheese. Will make sure it is always in my pantry!

Buy THIS variety for less salt and part whole grain

Bunny Pasta with Yummy Cheese has less salt that the other varieties (even the 25% reduced sodium version) AND it is partly whole-grain so it's better for you and tastier than white pasta. Yum!

Don't let the cute shape fool you into thinking this is just for little kids! I'm turning 27 tomorrow, and this is my favourite comfort food if I'm sick, or depressed. All of Annie's macaroni and cheeses are great, and can't be beat by any other boxed pasta and cheese product, but this one in particular just always cheers me up!

    Love Annie's!!

I remembered the first time I tried Annie's products. I was looking for an organic snack to replace cookies and chips, my two trigger foods. I saw Annie's bunny snacks in cheese and the cookies. I bought myself two boxes and I was hooked! I love the mac and cheese and the cheese and shells!
