Annie Withey believed that it is possible to build a socially conscious and successful business.

This was her goal when she started making delicious Mac & Cheese and selling it from her car trunk when she co-founded the company back in 1989.

We’re keeping Annie’s weird

Based in Berkeley, California, we like challenging conventions. We ride bikes to work, snatch veggies from our back-office garden, and stock that scratchy, recycled toilet paper. Anything to make the world a little better.

There’s one special ingredient that goes into every Annie’s recipe: our values. Meet the bunnies who are bringing them to life every day.

Dear Annie’s family & fans,

In 2014, we partnered with General Mills with a goal to make even more delicious organic food and bring it to even more people and places across the country.

Annie’s has now been a part of the General Mills family for over three years, and we’re sincerely so happy to report that we haven’t compromised on a single thing – not our values, not our culture, and most certainly not our ingredients.  We continue to make our delicious bunny treats with the same strict ingredient standards. We’re still hopping around at our Berkeley HQ, and we’re more determined than ever to be a force for good.

In fact, with the help of General Mills, we’ve introduced more than 50 NEW Certified Organic products for our family and friends! Additionally, we’ve nearly doubled the pounds of Certified Organic ingredients we purchase each year to make our foods.  Our commitment to organic and growth helps us to improve soil health that benefits  ecosystems, farmers, and bunny fans alike.

Thanks for caring and holding us accountable.  We will proudly and humbly continue to walk our talk for people and the planet that we share.  We promise to remain true to our mission and our roots.
