Kid-friendly Hidden Veggie Recipes

  

 

We think that all kids should enjoy eating their vegetables.  That's why we've created the recipes below, which include healthy veggies in our favorite food, macaroni and cheese!  These recipes are sure to please kids of all ages.

Whirled Peas Pasta

1 box Annie’s Organic Peace Pasta & Parmesan
1 cup frozen petite organic peas
½ cup 1% organic milk
2 tbsp. organic butter
1-2 tbsp. pesto
½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese



  1. Cook Annie’s Peace Pasta according to package directions.
  2. Just before pasta is ready to drain, add peas; return to boil, then drain.
  3. Return drained pasta and peas to pot.
  4. Add butter, stirring to melt, over low heat.
  5. Whisk cheese packet contents with ½ cup milk, blending well.
  6. Mix sauce and pesto into pasta, add grated parmesan, and remove from heat. Serve peacefully!


Serves 2-3.
