Allergy Information

The ingredient statement is the best source in determining what is in the product. If you are allergic or sensitive to certain foods or ingredients, you should always carefully read the ingredient statement and any allergen statements to ensure the product does not contain ingredients of concern to you.

While there has been no product reformulation or change in manufacturing facilities, Annie's Homegrown has recently decided to go above and beyond FDA requirements and include an allergen statement on all of our products that are manufactured on shared equipment with any of the top eight allergens. Our manufacturing facilities meet with the highest standards of cleanliness, and we maintain all allergen cleaning, and Quality Control protocol on file. We recognize the needs of our customers who have allergies or sensitivities to nuts, gluten, certain spices, etc. Annie's always fully discloses all ingredients on the ingredient statement and will answer any questions that will help consumers decide what products they can safely consume. At Annie's, we take every precaution to ensure that cross contamination of ingredients does not occur in our production facility. We run the products in a particular order to reduce the risk of cross contamination, take the equipment apart and thoroughly clean it in between runs of product, and do allergen testing on our products. However, we want you to know that some products are produced in a plant that processes foods containing wheat, dairy, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, crustaceans/shellfish, and egg. This is why we voluntarily chose to update our packaging to include this allergen information.

Do Annie's Products contain peanuts or tree nuts?

Currently, the majority of Annie's products are packaged in peanut and tree nut -free facilities. Here is a list of products that are produced in a facility that also manufactures products containing peanuts and tree nuts:

Gluten/Wheat in the pasta? YES

Gluten/Wheat in the cheese mix? NO, there is no gluten in any of our cheese mixes. However, they are produced in a facility that also manufactures Gluten and Wheat containing products.

Milk, Whey? YES - in the cheese

Eggs? NO - no eggs or egg-derived ingredients. However, it is made on shared equipment with products that contain eggs.

Soy? NO - no soy or soy-derived ingredients. However, it is made on shared equipment with products that contain soy

Blue Cheese? YES, The Pasta Meal "Rotini Pasta with Four Cheese Sauce" contains a small amount of blue cheese.

ANNIE'S CANNED MEALS

Gluten/Wheat? YES - in the pasta

Milk, Whey? YES - in the cheese

Eggs? NO - no egg ingredients. However, they are made on shared equipment with products that contain egg.

Soy? YES – only in P'Sghetti Loops with Soy Meatballs.

ANNIE'S CHEDDAR BUNNY CRACKERS

Gluten/Wheat? YES - in the wheat flour.

Milk, Whey? YES - in the cheese.

Soy? NO - no soy or soy-derived ingredients. However, they are made on shared equipment with products that contain soy.

ANNIE'S BUNNY GRAHAMS

Gluten/Wheat? YES – in the wheat flour

Milk? NO - no milk or dairy ingredients. However, they are made on shared equipment with products that contain milk.

Eggs? NO - no eggs or egg-derived ingredients. However, they are made on shared equipment with products that contain egg.

ANNIE'S RICE PASTA AND CHEDDAR

Annie's Rice Pasta & Cheddar is produced in a completely wheat- and gluten-free facility.

Soy? NO - no soy ingredients used at the facility.

Milk? YES - in the cheese.
